We are right next door to the Sun pub, facing Acomb Green. There is a bus stop just 10 meters from us, which sees regular buses on the number 4 and number 1 bus routes.

Enjoy the homely atmosphere and our good and reasonably priced food. We have just added Tuna melt or Chicken Pesto melt to our very popular toastie menu! Always available are Roast Beef or Pork, Steak and Ale Pie, and Pork or Beef baguettes.

Available daily are a gluten-free and vegan soup, plus a Vegetarian main course option.

An Ethical Menu
All tea, coffee and hot chocolate is Fair Trade, and only free-range eggs and vegetable oil are used.

Special diets and private functions can be catered for, either at the Cafe, or a venue of your own choice. Please telephone or enquire at the cafe.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Tea on the Green. If you wish to arrange an evening function for 10 to 22 friends or a family event, please contact us to plan your special event and menu.

We are also able to provide takeaway buffets, for example funeral teas, birthday party food, picnics, Business lunches etc.

We have been particulary busy this Jan 2011 with two 18th parties, one at the cafe and one as a buffet. An 86th and 30th family birthday celebrations have also recently taken place in the cafe. They were good fun and enjoyed by all.
